Frodo is a 3yr old, grade, 42" dapple stallion. Frodo has been handled by kids ages ranging from 15yrs old down to 2 yrs. He loves to be handled, and brushed. He does NOT act studdy, he has been around mares from mini size to full size horses, while they have been in season, and you can still do anything with him. He has been pastured with my mini stallion, and has NO issues. He is NOT an aggresser, he runs! He will come right up to you in the field. I helped a friend out who bought him and could not keep him. I was told by the previous owners that he had small kids on his back, and was led around, I personally havent hada child on his back. I did have a harness on him and just walked him around, and hecould of cared less. He is a very EASY going, and willing to try anything, and wants to please. He has shedded out and gained weight since I have taken these pictures, he is the dark grey color, like what you can see on his rump. He is nice and shiney and ready for his new loving home. Jeb is currently being rode by our 10 year old. She mainly rides him western on our 7 acre farm & does great. We have taken him to lessons & trails. He has a smooth walk & trot & will canter. He will only walk unless you ask for more. He will slowly move up to a faster gate as you ask for more. He is not fast, so no worries about him running off with your kids. He has super great manners, loads & hauls great. My daughter rides him bareback & does great on him. He is alot of fun for kids. Loves to be messed with, loves people contact. Gets along with other horses. Rides on trails alone, or with new horses, doesn't mind. We are downsizing is the reason we are selling. We have other horses that will be trained to ride soon & we will be riding those. He will make a great companion for a child, or beginner, great confidence builder & would make a great lesson horse.
