| Seven year old, 15.1 hands, Quarter Horse cross bay mare. Manon has always been barefoot, rides in a hackamore but will accept a snaffle, sane and sound trail horse. She's very calm about most situations (crossing water, heavy traffic, bicycles, screaming kids, etc.) but I have recently discovered that she's not used to sheep...but we're working on that. Up to date on all shots, worming and trimming. An alpha but non-agressive mare...she just won't let any other horse mess with her hay or grain. Can be ridden by anyone as long as you have some horse sense. Manon is a horse, like many, that will take advantage of a nervous rider. My other horse is my endurance horse and, after long trail rides on him, I don't have time for her. Not that she minds...she likes being a little fluffy and relaxing out in the field. However, she has too good a temperament and conformation to be just a pasture ornament. Located in Pooleville, Maryland. | ||||

| Charming Friesian Horse For Adoption: Teade (we call him Teddy), is an FRIESIAN imported from Europe 6years ago. There, he was trained to drive and basic dressage. Since he's been ridden and shown by children, beginners, and advanced riders. He's great for trail riding. He isn't spooky or jumpy. He is a little lazy, but will move out when asked. He is jet black with a full set of thick feathers and the Friesian thick mane and tail. He been ridden both western and english styles. He will jog slow for western and trot out for english with a forward upward gait. He has a fair amount of knee action and the characteristic high head carriage. He loves affection and attention. | This is a modified side pull. It offers MUCH more control and stopping than a traditional side pull. Works great for starting young horses, or for an older horse that has become "hard mouthed". I am currently training a 3 year old filly in one and she is doing GREAT! | I am a 24 yr looking to give a horse a good home. My arab is now too small for me so I am giving him to my brother and sisters. I would like to find a free horse because I know there are so many out there needing a good home. I would give them the best home! They would have a stall for rainy cold days, a blanket, nice pasture to run and play in, an indoor arena, and me to ride and give lots of love. I would like to be able to do 4-h and some gaming.
